As skilled water engineers, the team at Sparrow has extensive experience in drilling boreholes to provide potable water for both commercial and domestic water users. We provide a complete service from the initial consultation to water extraction and treatment. Our borehole services are complemented by our capability to maintain and repair pumps and pumping stations after the initial installation.

Before every installation, we conduct a full feasibility study using the latest, electro-seismic technology and produce a hydrological survey showing the waterwell drilling location in relation to the existing incoming main. Upon completion of the report we then obtain consent to drill from the Environment Agency for water abstraction and drill test a borehole to establish water quality, water volume and water treatment requirements. This enables our team to evaluate costs and payback timescales.

Subject to agreement, we then proceed with borehole drilling and installation and deal with all the formalities for license application.
